Finally . . .

...I am writing a blog post...
...I am writing about this...
...I get to write about this...
...this actually happened...

Disclaimer- You have just witnessed a very emotional girl minutes after she found out that she was FINALLY pregnant. I realize that girl didn't look amazing in the least. What with no makeup and my hair not done. Not to mention I decided to be filmed while wearing a color that matched not only my skin tone but my hair too. In fact, I think I looked sort of like this guy. Minus the weird mouth sores.

I don't know why I started to talk about taxes or my age (I am a little obsessed with that) or my boobs, I was just really overwhelmed. Needless to say, Lincoln and I are REALLY excited. I am 12 weeks today and the baby is due November 11.
What they say about feeling better once the first trimester ends is so true. I felt awful at first, but I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.I have really struggled with this topic for so long, and I can't believe I am finally pregnant. I am so grateful for all the support and love that each of you gave me. I am so excited!!

I thin it is really funny that you were concerned about your color tones...ha! You don't look like that guy at all, but that was pretty hilarious to put up his picture! You are a beautiful mother, congratulations!

Mal this is so sweet, I am so happy for you and Lincoln. One of my favorite, non-emotional, (but very Mallory) parts is that you can't remember what month it is. :-)

Congratulations! Love you so much!

I love how everyone is telling you that you don't look like that guy from "The Princess Bride". Well, I'm going to say what every one else is not saying and say . . . you kinda did look like him! But you know what I mean. Of course you're beautiful. But yeah, you kind of did look like him and it made me laugh.

My sister, Jody, had to call me and ask me if I had seen your blog recently. I've been so slow at looking at people's blogs. She said her and Vann were laughing so hard when they watched it and Jody teared up. As for me, I just had a huge smile on my face and tears in my eyes because this is truly a dream come true. You're on your way to being the mini-van driving soccer mom. Heck, you know, you can buy a mini-van now. You don't have to wait until you have 3 kids. I think this is the most special video ever. Almost more special than your labor/delivery video will be because your little baby is going to love to see that first moment when you guys found out about her and how happy and excited you are. Beautiful. Beautiful. But for future video blog posts . . . I agree with you, different color clothes. You normally wear bright colors. That would be funny if you had all your hair and make-up done while you were in labor pushing the baby out!

By the way, did you notice how I said "her" when I was referring to your baby. That's because I have 3 girls. My guess is still that you're going to have a boy.
