Almost all of my updos start with what I taught on day 7. I almost always start with a little backcombing in the crown securing it with two bobby pins on either side. I then took my hair in three sections on either side of my head and just did a square knot all the way down until there was no hair left to tie. I secured with a few bobby pins and I was done. It was so easy.
You can leave your ends sticking out all crazy, or you can tuck them in. I promise I did this in no time. I even had little Clark around being cute. Just goes to show you, being a mom doesn't mean you have to have stupid hair.Have a happy hair day!

I LOVE this and I never would have thought to have done it! Do you see these hairstyles in magazines or on TV or wherever and copy them or do you just dream them up in your head at night in your dreams? And your co-model is super cute!
OOOH.... I really like this one. Really. I just posted a link to your blog on Designmom's site because she was asking about hair tutorials. I'm still waiting for the 4 stranded braid:)
I LOVE this! I hope it works with my thick hair- I have a hard time using bobby pins that will stay.
I vow to never have stupid hair when going out in public again. I've been inspired :)
This is really, really cool. I love that it is so easy! It makes me wonder why I do such lame hair every day (although I have been doing the ballerina bun almost daily...)
