Clark loves the summertime

WARNING: THERE IS A HUGE AMOUNT OF BABY PICTURES OVERLOAD. IF YOU ARE NOT FAMILY, YOU MIGHT WANT TO SKIP THIS POST. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

We started the summer out right with a trip to Cincinnati for a much needed Ikea shopping spree. I love putting together Ikea furniture.
This is our first trips of many to the Columbus Zoo, it's ranked the #1 Zoo in America. We are so lucky. The last time I was there I was pregnant with Clark and I wore the same shirt. I wore it again on purpose because I am weird like that. I am grateful that I remembered my sunglasses not only because it was so hot and sunny, but because some people get emotional when they are showing the monkeys to their son for the first time. I can't help it, I have just become a cry baby ever since I had a baby.

This is another first for Clark. He loved the swings. I think we will be spending many days at the park this summer.

Clark has so many silly faces, I just can't help but show you this other cute smile. Don't forget, I did warn you.

He also discovered his reflection. Clark talks and laughs at himself in the mirror. Lincoln and I catch him looking at himself and we just die laughing. Unfortunately, this was taken at the Dr. office and he didn't have that happy smile after the shots.

Clark also started to eat baby food. I am still nursing, but feeding him solids has been so much fun. I can't help but laugh every time he takes the first bite and he looks like he is going to die from the taste. After the first bite he loves it. I can't seem to give it to him fast enough. I am making him eat all this healthy stuff that I hope he will love forever, fingers crossed.

I look forward to a very exciting summer.

Clark is so cute! I love his little smiling face. Keep posting pictures! I especially liked the picture of him in the swing. He probably likes feeling the wind in his face. :)

Thank you for posting!!!

You sincerely, truly sound like you're enjoying every single aspect of being a Mom. I hate feeding solids to my babies! And I hate cleaning up after them even more. Ha!

That picture of him in the swing is to die for!

I love the hat you are wearing at the zoo. So cool! It's very hip. Where did you get it?
